Royal Lion event victories were found in 400m, 4x400m relay, and jayvee 60m. Co-captain Riley Wells (Sr.) cruised his way to finishline in 53.15 for the win in the 400m Open. He later anchored the 4x400m squad consisting of Collin Hook (So.), Fulcomer, and Andy Volk (Sr.) to an early season 2A #4 best of 3:39.33. Noah Ross (So.) has strung together a fantastic early season of racing with 4 consecutive personal bests. His winning mark of 7.67 in the jayvee 60m puts him just outside the RCSTF all-time rankings.

Other noteworthy performances included Stephen Thomas (So.) and Brent Brunner (Sr.) in the 800m. The middle distance specialists ran open bests of 2:04.33 and 2:04.53, respectively. Rockford Christian currently holds the top three fastest marks in early season 2A for the 800m distance with Wells, Thomas, and Brunner.  Freshman Adam Santana found himself deep in the long jump sand. His leap of 18' 2.75" made him the top Royal Lion leaper of the day and rates him #7 in program history. Davis Hood (So.) improved upon his 60m best scoring in his first varsity dash in a time of 7.47 bumping him to RCSTF #5 indoors.

The 4x200m relays both as exceptional performances. The jayvee squad of Santana, Ross, Alex Bugarin (Fr.) and Adison Elliot (Fr.) ran 1:46.70 for 2nd place. All four ran personal bests. Elliot's anchor leg efforts caught the attention of the team captains. The diminutive sprinter ran a hard charging opponent right off his feet in the final curve to hold onto the heat win. Inspired by the performance, the varsity quartet ripped off a 2A #5 mark of 1:38.37 and placed 3rd overall. Hood, Volk, Kody Page (Sr.), and Connor Cunningham (Sr.) posted the season best with 3 out of 4 lifetime bests. Volk's 24.3 split ranks him RCSTF #16.

Additional team points were scored by Page in the high jump, Hook in the 60m hurdles, and co-captain Elijah Nitz (Sr.) in the shot put.
