This is the third Sectional team championship in program history. Previous titles were won in 2014 and 2017. Both those squads went on to earn trophies at the State meet. The efforts of Beaver and Thomas tie the most number of Royal Lions to earn All-Sectional honors at one time. Justin Rehfeldt (2011) and Dustin Cook (2008) finished 5th and 8th in the 2007 Oregon 1A Sectional; Riley Wells (2019) and Brent Brunner (2019) finished 1st and 8th in the 2017 Oregon 1 Sectional. A total of 18 Royal Lions have earned All-Sectional recognition since the program was established in 2000.
